Yeah, the Sultan was married, after all. And he has a daughter. That should say something.
BTW, what names do you think they would give their kids. I've always thought that their first-born son, should be named Ali. It can remind them of how they met, excluding the marketplace. Plus, I love that name. It's one of my favorite names. When I get another cat, he'll be named Ali, plus another Pietro. Hmm, Pietro Ali. It sounds so...something. Elegant? _________________ "I too am a member of your species, Captain, or I was. Perhaps I am not anymore. Perhaps you are right in thinking of me as an alien. I know I am different from you. Yeah, I've often thought about the name Ali as a name for a future child of Aladdin and Jasmine. And I've been wanting to name a character Brock Ali for awhile. Don't ask me when or where... I still haven't gotten to that stage yet.
As for names... who knows? There are so many lovely Arabian names out there, it's hard to say.
I personally chose Babkak because it's a name I find very interesting, accoustically-speaking.
(And speaking of Babkak, I've never been able to find it on any name sites. The closest I've found is "Babak.") _________________

Ali would be so completely obvious and cliche, though. It's just screaming typical name for their son |

I totally agree. That was, in fact, one of the reasons I'd ended up discarding it.
As for their son - (I'll stick with the name "Babkak" for now, since it works) he'd be more formally known as Babkak el Aladdin, or perhaps Babkak el Abu Aladdin. So, because of the way names back then worked, he'd still have his father's name attached to his own. _________________

Brock as in Brock from Pokemon? He was my favorite character. Well, he still is. I like him much more than Ash and Misty. I got Pietro because it's Italian and it's Quicksilver's name. No, he's not my favorite character from Evo. My favorite character is Lance. But my great grandmother's name is Petra, so, I like Pietro over Lance. _________________ "I too am a member of your species, Captain, or I was. Perhaps I am not anymore. No, Brock as in you put the names "Brock" and "Ali" together and you get something that sounds like a member of the Brassica family. _________________

Oh. Okay. I thought you were talking about people, or something. Like a certain family. _________________ "I too am a member of your species, Captain, or I was. Perhaps I am not anymore. Perhaps you are right in thinking of me as an alien. I know I am different from you. You see-I do not kill." |
