More proof that Disney isn't just filling kids heads with unrealistic stories:

Funny thing, Sarah means "princess" in Hebrew.

I read a similar news story a while back about a girl in California who's actually the daughter of the prince of Monaco or some country like that. Funny thing is, her name's Jasmine. All I could think of was the kids in her class calling her "Princess Jasmine" and imitating Jas all the time.

At first I thought, "She woke up and found out she was a princess! How cool!"

And then I thought, "She's a princess. Oh, crap. Tough luck."

Being a princess isn't all the glamarous, when you think about the fact that her subjects consider her the savior of a village ravaged by civil war. Shocked

Hmm, looks like she inherited a right rotten egg. And did a good job of fixing it, too. Boy, am I glad all my royal/noble ancestors go waaaaaaay back!

Actually, a lot of people are descended from royals or nobles, and probably several of any kind. Syera 'n' I are descended from William the Conquerer, and some Welsh guys (Col. Morgan Morgan comes to mind), and some Scottish guys, and some other guys on my dad's side whose blood, if not blue, was definitely a fair shade of purple.

(Being the direct child of one of these kind of people is, of course, much more rare, but I still get kicks from thinking myself as a Princess of England, no matter how removed.)

I don't mind not being a descendent of a royal, not when I'm the descendent of the woman who created the first s'mores. Laughing

It's fairly possible you'd find royalty in your history somewhere if you looked hard enough. Let's see... you're mostly Hispanic, correct? You could have ancestors in any number of places... British Isles, Europe, the Middle East, North Africa...
