Not sure if we've announced this already - it's news to me today!! And I'm not sure how to make it an "announcement" but I'm excited to see this!!

If you haven't seen it yet, there is now a trailer for this musical, and it seems the whole thing will be posted on YouTube (or available on DVD?!) on November 28th.

Trailer: http://youtu.be/jgINfwAZNAY

I really enjoyed the "Very Potter" musicals so hopefully I enjoy this one as well. The trailer did make me laugh although I wish that whole "take off your clothes" rumour would just go away already ...

(Hopefully it's okay for me to jump into this thread! I used to be in the AML many years ago and I've posted a couple times in the LJ Agrabah community but I am a little late in joining this board!)

I did watch it (but I fell asleep during the battle scene OF COURSE).

I found Jafar's character pretty boring-good-guy, but I enjoyed Jasmine and the guard. Aladdin being the villain bothered me at first, but it got pretty funny. I just had to remind myself it was a spoof lol.

Some of the parts where they made fun of other Disney movies/Disney in general were some of the best parts. (like the "Belle" spoof) And also blatant making-fun-of-Aladdin references (I hate to admit that I laughed at the "take off your clothes" part).

The twist at the end was predictable, but they made it work, and I liked the bittersweet ending they gave Jafar.

Yeah--I liked it as a spoof. I love all things Starkid so I really got a kick out of this one.

And I think it was cool how they got Jonathan Freeman to do the trailer.

And yes the other movies were hilarious Laughing "My only crime was to love her!"
