Hi, I'm new...and I just bought the Aladdin DVD. As I was watching it I vaguely remember a scene where Aladdin had a flashback from when he was little...and some one was calling his name only it was a different Aladdin. I scoured this DVD and I couldn't find that scene. Is it just me or am I going crazy?

I believe you're thinking of a scene from Aladdin and the King of Thieves. Very Happy

AHHH!!! You see I have all of them on tape...only my friend dismantled the VCR when I wasn't looking...and still hasn't fixed it. I was pissed at them for quite a while...and still am! But thank you, now I am sure I am not going crazy. I hope.

Well, I don't know if you've seen the series or not, but technically the sequence of someone yelling his name and it being a younger Aladdin comes from Aladdin's flashback in "The Lost Ones"

No I've seen that episode...it's the one where Genie turns Iago into a baby, right? The one with the El-Khatib (I can't spell...)? But I'm pretty sure it was from the movie.... There was this woman that was like "ALADDIN!" and the younger Aladdin looks hopefully towards the lighted doorway. Only the father comes home and picks up another boy and walks inside....they close the door and Aladdin looks sad....there may be some gaps in my memory...

That's reminescent of "King of Thieves" as said before.

Well, I've never seen the King of Theives movie before...so that might be some thing else. This is strange...maybe I am insane?

The part with the father and kids that he sees through the door is definitely KoT. The person calling Aladdin was in "The Lost Ones". Maybe you saw part of the movie and didn't know what it was?

Aladdin and Jasmine are getting married, but the wedding is interrupted when the Forty Thieves try to mug everyone. But they're driven off.
The main thing they were after was an oracle, and Aladdin asks it about his father --- and finds out that his father's alive. So he goes to search for Cassim, his daddy.
