So, anyway, I'm going to write an episode guide, and I was going to put the episodes in the order they happened but gave up because it got to complicated. So I went to put them in the order they aired and noticed something I hadn't before:

I didn't notice this because I didn't see the Disney Afternoon episodes until it was in reruns because it didn't get picked up here until the summer of 1995, but the order most episode guides put the episodes in is actually incorrect. They list the Disney Afternoon/syndicated episodes as having aired first, then the first and second season of CBS Saturday morning episodes. But, when you look at the dates, the first season of CBS episodes was airing at the same time as the Disney Afternoon ones. So you'd see 5 episodes after school on the Disney Afternoon during the week and then one episode on Saturday morning on another channel. And when you list them in that order a lot of the continuity problems we've been having disappear (CBS episodes in bold type) :

Air Feathered Friends

I made a new chronology thread a little while ago and I am going through all the eps and writing notes to maybe see if something gives it away to about where it should be placed that we haven't seen or realized. More on that when I completely finish. Laughing

And am I the only one who thinks "The Spice Is Right" is towards the end along with those others? Laughing

Good work, Calluna. I commend you for it. Smile Though I never saw the series myself, I couldn't help but notice that there was definitely some wackiness going on when people were listing the episodes.

It still has to go before all the other Ayam Agoul eps, so it can't be too late. And Sultan is nagging them to get married, so that points to early on in the series to me. Wink

I still want "The Prophet Motive" to be before "Air Feather Friends" and "Do the Rat Thing", but it's not absolutely necissary that it be there so it's probably just sentimentality on my part, since it was my first episode. Razz

No, I completely agree with the Prophet Motive being first. Between Fasir saying he'll be around and Aladdin talking about his past, it just feels first.

And at the end when Jasmine says she wishes she could meet Fasir, when according to this timeline she already has met him, she just didn't know who he was. Laughing

Well, wouldn't Iago realize that it was Fasir who turned them into the rat/lizard if Prophet Motive came before Do the Rat Thing?

I agree that it's early. I'm just not totally positive that it's first.

SWEET! Very Happy
I know I'm such a bug but are you planning to write the transcripts for them or someone to contribute transcripts or maybe both? Because I'm not sure if I've seen all of them. If I haven't seen all of them then I or we would like to read it. PLEASE!

I don't think Iago saw him; only Jasmine did, right? Confused

Well, I just found a problem with this timeline; it puts "Sneeze the Day" before "The Prophet Motive", which is impossible since when Genie sneezes up some of their old enemies in "Sneeze the Day" he sneezes up Fashoum. Crying or Very sad But it is the best "official" order we have so far...

Thundra's forest is being destroyed and she calls on team Aladdin to help her stop/find out what it is. Iago thinks she is just playing hard to get and that's she doing this on purpose to get his attention, but they find out it's really Mechanicles and his robotic termites eating up everything Laughing

Out of curiosity, is Team Aladdin a fan-made term, or was it ever used in the series?

I believe it was used once, in "Shark Treatment". Smile

I'm still trying to remember where I got "the Aladdin gang" from; I'm pretty sure that was in canon...

The Aladdin-gumi? Laughing
