I saw that oone of the cut songs from the movie was Jasmine's song "Call me a Princess" and they cut it because it made the movie to modern and made Jasmine seem to stuck-up. I would still like to hear the melody to it, or something. It would be cool.

Have you ever noticed that whenever Lea Solanga sings, she doesn't sing much. She gets like one song... or 1 1/2. Not much.

She also does the voice of Mulan in Mulan. But then again, she has that short liltte song "Reflection," and a few lines in "Honor to Us All," and one line in "Make a Man out of You."

I just thought that was weird, because if she's so good, why don't they use her more. Although, in my opinion, Liz Callaway does a better job singing anyway. She's done Jasmine in "Aladdin and the Return of Jafar," and "Aladdin and the King of Thieves." She also did Odette in "The Swan Princess" and older Kiara in "Lion King 2: Simba's Pride."

I like her voice better because she can do the breath support and the quieter roles quite well. Razz

I saw that song. It makes her seem like SUCH a brat. At first I didn't think it was Jasmine and I thought it was a different princess cut from the movie.

I think call me a princess was written very early in the production of Aladdin when the crew was still searching for the right personalities. You saw the proccess of redesigning Aladdin on the DVD right? Imagine something similair was needed for Jasmine. No streetrat would want to go the effort for a snotty brat how beautiful she may look.

I have this one on the Music Behind the Magic boxed set, and I really, really don't like that song. It just made her seem so snotty. I'm glad they decided to take her character the direction that they did, in the end.
