Hey, I'm just saying that that's how I knew it wasn't from the special edition DVD... and c'mon people! That's what it sounds like he says... no matter how hard you fight it.

I know that's not what it supposed to sound like!!! I do, I do, I do!!! But that doesn't mean that's not what it sounds like! The rumor started somehow and it's because someone actually heard it... and I thought that even before I knew it was a Disney rumor.
That's what it sounds like he says, and that's one of the things that distinguishes between the DVD edition and the VHS edition for me.

OMG  these damn rumors are started by people who have nothing to better with there lives i wanna beat whoever came up with this aladdin rumor even ron and john say its not true because they were there when all this stuff was recorded.

The point isn't whether or not he says it, it's what people hear... and it does sound like that's what he's saying. People know that wasn't the intentions of the actors/animators/sound directors... but hey, mistakes happen.
Now, just because Disney says it didn't happen, doesn't mean that's the truth. Haven't you ever heard about the little black girl in Fantastia they took out of the later editions of the movie, and then *claimed* she was never in the movies at all... even though there are still movies out there with her in it!

all those aladdin, little mermaid, and every other rumor bout the disney movies are complete BS!!, all i got to say to this whole business is OY!!!!, lol theres my two cents. i enjoyed the DC airplay of aladdin, in cause it hasnt been said enough!

They cut like a second off the part after Aladdin says "I think he knows where it is." Because..I just know, . I've seen it enough to know.
The screen didn't quite fit either. You could barely see Aladdin's feather after he says "But I really am a prince."
Maybe I had wax in my ears, but Lea's singing voice sounded deeper to me. *Shrugs*
But they didn't "cut" anything out, which surprised the deuce out of me.
And yeah, they didn't show the DVD one because all the details were gone again and he said the line they cut out.
And on a final note, those rumors are started by idiots and continued on by morons.  |

I thought the same thing.
My family laughed at me. We have surround sound in our living room, but they didn't use the other speakers for most of the movie, in fact the only part they did (that I noticed) was when Prince Ali goes on the balcony and says "Princess Jasmine?" They put that line in the speaker behind me. Since I wasn't expecting it, I jumped and looked behind me - very confused. They're still laughing about that.
