In the Return of Jafar, is Jafar defeated once and for all? (Is he dead or what -_-?)

Gandalf, you mean? Shocked

Well, Salukfan already mentioned Hercules and the Arabian Night. Other than that, I'm not sure if I would like to see Jafar back. He's a great character, but I've seen so many fanfics where it happens that it's just become a horrible cliche, and I'm skeptical that it could be done in a realistic or interesting way. Confused

I doubt jafar could ever leave the River of Death, so I think he's gone.

Then again, I doubted he could ever come back after his lamp was destroyed...

DUN DUN DUNNNN

Well, *he* didn't come back per se. It was more like his soul came back andjust arrived to the underworld. Then Hades returned him to...hmm, what did he return him to? A Genie or sorcerer?

But what he was doing for that period of time between the end of ROJ and Hercules and the Arabian Night is beyond me. Maybe he and Gazeem were duking it out. Very Happy

I hope he's gone. You've mentioned a couple huzzahs I didn't know about. Good grief. BEGONE!

No, not GANDALF! Ganondorf! He's very much like Jafar.

Both like black and red. Both are sorcerers and advisors to the king who usurp the throne, go nuts, get overthrown by the hero and locked away by their own power, and both are elegant, tall, and refined. It's freakish.

She's a character from a video game - that's all I know about Zelda.

Oh, it's from Zelda; that's why I don't know it. Yeah, not at all like Gandalf. Laughing Except for the wizard-coming-back-from-the-dead part. Wink

Jafar was a great villain, but to bring him back again would annoy even me. Then again, I thought Iago: The Movie - I mean, Return of Jafar - wasn't so hot, either, and I would've been happy to have Jafar laid to rest (metaphorically!) in the original Aladdin. I've never seen "Hercules and the Arabian Night," but the media-enhanced transcript on AC provides enough for me to love it. Also, it first aired on my birthday, so I like to pretend that it's Disney's gift to me, so I can see Jafar one more time. Very Happy

And any Jafar torture that goes on will have to be done only after I have been violently restrained by at least twelve people, then bludgeoned to death with a blunt object. Because that's the only way you're getting near him. Twisted Evil

I don't plan to, for appearances' sake if nothing else. Really, I look terrible when I'm foaming at the mouth.

Yes, I think he's currently doing the polka, wearing Abu's skin.

I don't think he'll return, but i think he COULD return, being a sorcerer/genie. Maybe he could make a deal with hades. Very Happy I like to think RoJ was never made, they really ruined most of the characters on that one, especially jafar. When did mickey's house of mouse take place that jafar was alive in a few of those episodes?

I've played many a zelda game and princess jas is not like zelda, she wouldn't let herself be captured EVERY SINGLE GAME. Razz
