Just an odd little thought: If Aladdin were to be released this year, how do you think Genie's celebrity impersonations would differ? I myself think that when he turns Aladdin into a prince, he would've done a Queer Eye for the Straight Guy take-off, and also would have turned into George W. Bush at some point, simply because no set of modern comedic impersonations is complete without him. What do you guys think?

Genie as Michael Jackson would be brilliant.

I'm sure at some point in the movie, Genie would turn into Simon what's-his-face from American Idol. Probably during the whole "You promised you'd free me and broke that promise" scene.

William Hung or American Idol itself.
Napolean Dynamite-Not that he hasn't done this one on the stage show already
He'd probably spoof some big movies like Harry Potter, Spider-man, Titanic, etc.

I agree about Queer Eye. I'm just imagining if they made the episode "My Fair Aladdin" today... Laughing

Maybe they would have gotten away with a "Matrix" parody...if that's original.

I had a such parody in my fanfic. Also one for "CSI".

Some reality show paraody comes to mind. A Stitch morph, zapping Jas into Jane or Mulan. I can see her armed with sword and Iago as Mushu. Very Happy Pirates of the Caribbean in the golden shark episode with Murk, name has escaped me at the moment. Spiderman/Dr Octopus maybe even a Bond impression.

I saw a picture of him and Eden as Hercules and Xena. Hilarious.

They'd have Jeff whatshisname maybe.

"Aladdin, the tribe has spoken, you're in trouble. Like my gay shirt?"

Yeah, you can throw out that last bit... Laughing

I was going to say Martha Stewart, but he actually did an impression of her in the comics. Laughing
