Hey Peeps! I was just wondering which Aladdin show was better: The Aladdin parade at Disneyland (that was out around 1993 or something) or Aladdin the Musical.

Saw only the video tape version xfkirsten recorded, so I can't really make that judgement.

I didn't see DL's version of the Aladdin parade. I have seen Disney-MGM Studios version, though, which was more or less the same. Of the two, DCA's Aladdin pwns the competition. One of the best Disney theme park shows ever, right up there with Fantasmic - although I think Fantasmic wins that battle just cause of a few weak points in DCA's show.

Although IMHO, it's very hard to compare the two, because they're such different performances. DCA's show is a show, and the other was a parade. They are constructed very differently.

I've only seen the DCA show through a tape and internet *high fives Kirsten*, so I can't really judge either. But anything dealing with Aladdin has to be the shiz because we come with a natural managerie and parade anytime you show Aladdin in stage form Very Happy

i have to go with the DCA show just because i was watching our recording from our ancient video camera a week or so back and i didnt really care for it that much Neutral

Like Kirsten, I saw the parade in Florida. *hugs the spitting camels* And like several others, I have only seen Kirsten's internet version of the stage show, but I think I'm going to have to go with the stage show, even though both were awesome.
