Has Sidney being an anagram of Disney come up yet?

Also I wonder if they're doing sort of like the original story where there was a genie of the lamp and then a genie of the ring but here it's just two genies at odds with each other or something.

Oh and slow burn aladdin and jasmine is a new form of exquisite torture Laughing

HA - I don't believe so! But I wouldn't be surprised.

I'd be interested to see!! Might be cool to have a girl genie too.

Or I wonder if they'll make it a surprise return of an old character that we all forgot about. Like "Whaaaaat they're a genie now???" (Typically I don't like when they do that. Gets too soap-opera-y. But sometimes it's cool!)

We'll find out he's also Yen Sid from Fantasia Laughing

Any guesses who they might do that to?

Them not touching and kissing all over each other is foreign to me Laughing

That was a fan theory before it turned out that Merlin was the Sorcerer. What if Yen Sid is the new genie? Hmmm...

Ehhh... I'm not sure how they'd manage someone suddenly being a genie, although they've done weirder things before I guess. There are a couple of very dead people that would make interesting genies though?

1. That oracle chick who was helping Jasmine before.

2. *PREVIOUS DEATH SPOILER* Merlin could be interesting. We watched his heart get crushed to dust, but he was a powerful sorcerer, so maybe he loop-holed it? Weirder things have happened.

3. *PREVIOUS DEATH SPOILER* Robin Hood (Regina's true love) died last season, but I heard they cast him again for this season, so idk if there's a flashback or some crazy way he's coming back?

Agrabah and genies and stuff were apparently in the failed spin-off I didn't watch. Not sure if they want to bring characters from that back or not?

I would absolutely die if it were fricken Eden from the series, but I hiiiiighly doubt that.

Maybe it will be a new person? Maybe it will be empty and they'll think it's useless then later learn it's not. Ha idk.

I know, but I kinda feel spoiled that I get to watch them fall in love all over again Smile

Wait, so Disney characters legit die on this show? I was laughing when they tried to tell me Aladdin died because I was like "pfft, he's ALADDIN, plus he just got here". Apparently, I should have been concerned Laughing

They don't say how some of these characters die. Just that they went to the underworld :/ This Peter Pan plot sounds wild though Laughing

Hahaha yes it is ridiculous. If the kid who played Peter Pan wasn't so amazing at his portrayal, I don't know how I would have survived that season.

Regarding the underworld thing, those are probably characters we met in the underworld, where it was never explained how they died. :/

You mean the preview for next week?

I was kind of surprised how quickly he was like, "Hey let's not look for alternatives. I'm the genie now cool yeah this will go great nothing could possibly go wrong here."

Yeah, with all that magic stuff in that one dude's shop like how does Jasmine know the lamp is the ONLY way to get back to Agrabah?

I think Aladdin just had a secret desire to be Jasmine's love slave Laughing
He just forgot that, you know, anyone who has the lamp controls him.

He's certainly been more clever...

I wonder if Regina will wish for Robin Hood to come back. He didn't technically die, so maybe it could happen. (He got erased from existence.)

Yeah, they're gonna have to put crazy restrictions on his magic because technically everyone could get a wish and fix, like, everything wrong. Genie's magic should be more powerful than anyone else's on the show but I have no idea how they handled genie magic the last time.

I honestly don't even remember it was so long ago and brushed over.

See, I figured they were going to put restrictions on the lamp's magic, but "nah, we've had enough trouble today" is literally not the way to convince me said magic is not worth the trouble to try fixing at least one thing on this show by waking what's her face up. There were a lot of wasted opportunities here by having everyone be like "HA NO I'VE SEEN THE MOVIE, I'M NOT MAKING WISHES FOR MYSELF. I'M MAKING WISHES ON BEHALF OF PEOPLE I HATE LOL".

For some reason I'm only just now realizing that scene with the Evil Queen coming on to Aladdin is mirroring the one with Jafar and Jasmine. It didn't make it any less skeevy and gross Laughing

"Do you trust me?"
"Always, Princess"
Ugh, kill me, they're so precious Crying or Very sad

I guess this means they're done for the season (which did I hear that right? You don't get to see the season finale until March??)
