Never thought that Jafar would be more handsome than Aladdin. I thought he was supposed to be...old.
Also seems like the new character, Jasmine's maiden will have a bigger role than I expected, even be included with the main characters (and excluding the Sultan for some reason). Not entirely sure how to feel about this, but I try to remain hopeful.
Also is it just me, or Abu seems a bit weird in the other pic? XD |

Either it's a big role, or it's pandering to feminism  I'd love for this version to pass the Bechdel test though!

Kinda hope it's for storytelling reasons, not just to make this movie a feminist one (sorry, just not fan of today's feminism, especially in media)
I'm not big fan of Aladdin1s look, but I can live with it. Just find it funny how Jafar looks much more handsome XD
Wait, that new guy is supposed to be the prince? I thought he was going to be European (I probably misheard it). Hope we will see more of him to see how his character will be.
As for the dress... I'm not big fan of it. I like the white parts and even the blue parts, but they just don't seem to fit well together. Maybe if the colors were blended in much better would make it better for me, but now I feel like wanting to cut out the blue part and make it fully white and gold. |

Also call me stupid, but seems like the color coding is kinda gone. Aladdin wears a lot more red now than ever (or are they implying that he's not as good as he was in the original) and even the new maiden seems to wear a lot of red.
Now they either forgot about this detail, or they try to imply some stuff to us (evil maiden incoming  ). What do you think? |

Even weirder, Jafar looks at least the same age as Aladdin, maybe even a little younger. :b |

You're right! He does look a bit younger than Aladdin. Guess Jafar couldn't look like like an old man anymore or not be handsome. 
Hopefully we get a trailer soon, because currently I have very mixed feelings about the movie. I'm mostly worried about how the characters will be portrayed (still worried about modern-feminist Jasmine approach tbh) plus how the new stuff will work out (bit concerned about making the maiden character a main one to be awfully honest). |
