Zayn Malik and Zhavia just put a new spin on an old classic, covering "A Whole New World" for Disney's live-action remake of "Aladdin."

With Zayn taking on the titular character's part and his duet partner singing Jasmine's, the two star in a music video for the cover, which will play over the credits of the new film.

Okay but this is almost exactly the 90's pop version. It piqued my interest with the ethnic styling in the beginning, but they didn't really utilize it again.

Still waiting for there to be a good cover.

Yeah the Qawwali vibes in the beginning and end were a nice touch.

I'm just happy there's a Jasmine part that's finally in my vocal range. Those second soprano struggles, man Laughing

Like the beginning and the ending with it's unique vibe, but after that... it was basically original pop version back in 1992. Also wasn't fond of Zhavia's singing voice at all. Just didn't find it fitting. Zayn was really good though.

It was fine, nothing outstanding imo (then again, A Whole New World was never really my favourite song from the movie to being with).
