Yeah, Aladdin did think that Cassim was there as his father, not the King, I mean, that's why he said When you're here, you're not the King of Thieves, you're my dad.

I do hope, however, that the money issue doesn't come up again. Rolling Eyes If it was Jasmine's dowry, then it would be his, since he would be the husband. And if Arab women have to marry with a dowry, then Jasmine's dowry would have to be VERY big, since she's a princess.

I know that, because before(I don't know if there are still any people who do it), but, like in the 1800s, I think, if you were an 'hacendado', or an aristocrat, you had to have a dowry, and it depended on how much money your family had. If you were an aristocrat, and you came from an old family, it was very, very high. If you were a house servant, it was lower, and so forth.

If your family offered, say, a thousand dollars as your dowry, to the groom and his family, and they took it, then it's theirs. They're free to do what they like with it. He could use it to pay any debts he might have, he can spend it, he can manage it, he can save it, he can do anything with it, it's his basically.

See, so then, obviously, Agrabah now belongs to Aladdin. So, see, it would be his, so there's no reason to be, like, thinking that he can't support her.

It was pass down given to him. It wouldn't be his own though. It was someone else's.

He is the leader of Agrabah, with Jasmine at his side. Literally, Agrabah does belong to him... he is the figurehead. Yes, I know... technically it belongs to the people... but in Agrabah, it seemed that the sultan was not only the figurehead, but the sole rule-maker also.

lol. Laughing You can say that again. All Aladdin has to do is be guilty of taking fresh baked bread from the Palace kitchen. He'd be like, " Wow, the bread here is not hard and stale."

That bread wouldn't have been white - you only get white bread with bleached flour. Their breads would have been your heavy, whole-grain varieties.
